Stay home again …

Ottawa went in 3rd lock-down after Covid became worse. My studio was opened a short-while and now it is closed again. But I am thankful that I am healthy ! and safe with my family. No complains.

Here is my new project for my friend who is preserved flower artist collaborating with porcelain artist. I am happy to capture their beautiful artworks ! For more info about their work, details are here.

Open again !

As Ottawa has been returned to less covid restrictions, my photo-shooting activity is officially restarted. We will do our best to run the session safely and joyously ! Please let me know if you would like to reschedule or just book. Let’s start planning again for the memorable capture of yours !

Staying active !

The days with lock-down here in Ottawa are a bit different this time as we are allowed to exercise generously and walk the dogs as much as we can. So my simple life recently is filled with dog walking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and just walking powerfully ! Snow and lots of sunshine give us a boost of energy too !

Printing matters

I have just finished this light weight small photo-book for my dog friend. I hope this book makes many people smile …

We live in the digital world now and everything is digital. We take photos by smartphones etc and store somewhere and that’s all we do lately… As a photographer I recommend to have some of them printed if you really think the precious moments to keep glowing. Photo-books are one of my favorites as printed products. Here is one of the example I made in the past. Personally, 12×12 hard cover is the best look and feel.

More social

Here in Ottawa, we entered the stage 2 of Covid19 restrictions this week and social bubbles are expanded. It is so nice to see more friends and dogs ! Especially we were so excited to see this new member, Golden Retriever girl in our dog community ! Welcome !

We are in this together

20200423-9

Here is another Stay-home project of mine. Taking own portrait with my loyal assistant! It’s been a while so this is great time to capture myself now… only one regret is my messy hair as I have not been hair salon for a few months … oh well …

Stay-home project part 2 – Wedding kimono

Shiromuku, the pure white long tail wedding kimono ensemble is one of my collections available for customers to rent.  Dressing this type of kimono is quite complicated and different so now is great time for me to update my skill. The special accessories are my handmade. Proudly…
