Iaido Championship
I was extremely honoured to be an official photographer to capture the Iaido competition in July. Iaido is the traditional Japanese martial arts using the swords for training the body and mind in the stillness and balance. I found that the beauty of movements, calmness, and respect are very similar to Tea ceremony that I have been practicing for decades, has the aspect of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. Congratulations to all competitors ! and thank you Tokushikai for giving me such a amazing opportunity !
Spring Harvests !
My first visit to Jambican Studio Gardens in 2024 ! Asparagus is in peak season in May so I had to try them. Farm cats welcomed me as usual and I had a great time walking around the farm in early harvest time. This is my 5th year with Jambican for capturing their beautiful organic farm and products. I am extremely happy to be part of their wonderful world of simple miracles.
