I was extremely honoured to be an official photographer to capture the Iaido competition in July. Iaido is the traditional Japanese martial arts using the swords for training the body and mind in the stillness and balance. I found that the beauty of movements, calmness, and respect are very similar to Tea ceremony that I have been practicing for decades, has the aspect of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility.
