I had such an honour to be a photographer for this wonderful girl celebrating her Seijinshiki, Coming-of-Age-Day of Japanese tradition. Celenrating by wearing Furisode, the long sleeve formal kimono, has special meanings for the girls entering adulthood and become responsible for many aspects of life. Also it is the day to thank the parents who raised them with lots of love.
In the beautiful autumn afternoon, after the studio session at CorgiMark, we went the forest nearby for outdoor photo shoot. It was so magical with the colours of autumn leaves and gorgeous kimono ! I am so glad we took advantage of the wonderful day for this celebration.
